LivingFuel SuperGreens Review: Is it Worth The Money?

We’re not usually one to see this many claims on a supplement, but when you glance over Livingfuel’s SuperGreens packaging, there are words like “most powerful” and “high impact.”

There’s also an extensive list claiming how their product will help optimize weight gain/loss, boost energy levels (yes!), and stabilize blood sugar levels in people with diabetes or prediabetes symptoms– amongst other things.

So did these greens live up to these claims? Let’s find out.

The Ingredients

The Ingredients are helpfully separated into eight clear-cut categories: Superfoods, Enzymes, Probiotics, Amino Acids, Herbs, Antioxidants, Vitamins, and Minerals.

The “Superfoods” blend is designed to provide your body with beneficial nutrients and enzymes to help you digest food more efficiently. It includes barley grass leaf, spinach, kale, broccoli, dulse, kelp, chia seeds. There are six digestive enzymes; 7.5 billion probiotics from 3 strains. Amino Acids (glutamine, leucine, taurine). Herbs containing astragalus, milk thistle, turmeric, ginkgo biloba. The antioxidants consist of Quercetin, Green Tea Catechins, and also Grape Seed Extract. Antioxidants.

Then we have the vitamins and minerals, which appear to be isolated in their purest forms. I’ll go over this in more detail below, but they include hefty amounts of all significant hits: Vitamins A, C, D, E, and K. Most B-Vitamins, Magnesium, Calcium, and Zinc are all present at very high levels.

It’s important to note that the calories and serving size are more outstanding than other greens powders because this is intended as your protein shake: one scoop provides 265 total Calories with 4.6 grams fat, 27 grams of protein, 24 carbs, 10 grams of fiber.

How Does LivingFuel SuperGreens Taste?

Living Fuel is very earthy and nutty (although it’s also free from nuts). I liken the taste to sacha inchi nut, a South American tree nut that’s relatively popular among both vegans & ketosis fans. Its taste profile reminded me of defatted peanut butter without any added sugar – only richly textured nutrients! The problem? Unless you LOVE bold flavors or enjoy eating grasses/seaweed mixed into your food on occasion, then this probably isn’t for you.

The product itself recommends dropping it into smoothies or milk, which sounds like a great idea.

Is LivingFuel SuperGreens Effective?

It’s hard to contest that this supplement contains more antioxidants than any other fruit or vegetable, with an ORAC rating nearly six times higher. With all these healthy compounds in your body each time you take a sip of their green smoothie recipe drink — not to mention its high energy content–it’s easy to see why so many people are hooked.

Livingfuel’s greens powder offers 7.5 billion probiotics per serving, which is about the middle of what most green powders have to offer–but it does so with an innovative measuring system that ensures consumers know how many cultures they’re getting in their diet.

It’s no wonder this product stands out. One serving provides more than 8,000% of the recommended daily intake for Vitamin B12; 600 percent for Vitamin K ;500%. It also has about 300%, 200%, and 167 % respectively from Folate , Vitamins A & D, and Selenium, which is essential in anti-aging processes.

I really like how this product has more nutrition than other similar products, but I can’t help comparing it to my favorite ones from Shakeology and Kylea’s Total Living Drink Greens. They’re a little cheaper too.

Price for LivingFuel SuperGreens

The serving size is big, so a thirty-ounce tub provides just 12 servings for about $68. That breaks down to a painful $5.66 per serving. Yikes!

Personally, I take my supplements in smaller amounts, especially when they are expensive, which still deliver a good amount of nutrition at half the cost. Even then, it’s still on the pricey side but not as expensive as some of the others out there.

Final Analysis

Hyperbolic? No way!

It’s true that this product doesn’t provide everything your body could possibly need, but it’s still an excellent choice for those looking to take their performance and recovery supplements seriously.

The thing that I like best about this product is how it provides all of the necessary ingredients in an easy-to understand format. There’s no guessing games or having to do math problems, because everything from vitamins and minerals down to even probiotics are quantified on one page. It makes choosing what you need simple as well. Just scroll through each section until something catches your eye, then buy whatever looks most appetizing (and maybe put some money back too).

It’s a good product, but the marketing tactics are overboard. You have to take half of what you think will do for your needs at once and it may end up being too expensive in total cost-effectiveness.
